[News Report=Hye Mi Jung] ILham Badreddine Mahfouz is a Syrian American living in Michigan. As an immigration artist, she graduated from Eastern Michigan University. When she was in school, she majored in painting and ceramics and minored in art history.
“I am happy to enjoy both the old world of Syria and the new world of America. I was blessed with great guidance, love for all mankind, and faith in God, who empowered me and led me to continue. ”
She has received a total of 13 solo exhibitions so far. In addition, she participated in more than 100 group art exhibitions at home and abroad.
Her works of art are on display at the Arab American Museum in Dearborn, Michigan, and at the new museum in Armada, Michigan, at the Amnesty International Museum of Human Rights (H.R.F) in Denmark. She organized various art exhibitions while meeting artists from around the world and enjoying conversations about art.
